Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the fundamentals or an experienced player looking to expand your musical and technical skill set, I’m here to help you achieve your goals. I believe that while there are certain universal skills to learn, there is no one-size-fits-all model for lessons. That’s why I tailor my lessons to meet your specific needs and learning style, incorporating elements that push the limits of your technical and musical skills to help you become the musician YOU want to be.

I offer drum set, percussion, and timpani lessons both online for students everywhere and in person at my studio in North Jersey.

Areas of focus can include:

• For drum set: coordination exercises, technical development for both traditional and matched grip, developing and applying rudiments around the kit, developing comping/trading/soloing ideas, improving time-feel, expanding dynamic range, exploring cross-rhythms and their applications, developing brush technique, learning tunes, developing various styles (jazz, funk, rock, R&B, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, etc.), and more.
• For percussion/timpani: technical, rudimental, and musical development on all orchestral percussion instruments; college/honor ensemble audition preparation; learning études and repertoire for snare drum, timpani, mallet instruments, and accessories; and more.
